Incorporating bone broth in a babies diet has many MANY benefits. Its a fabulous digestive elixir that helps the lining of a baby’s digestive tract to mature and strengthen, preparing baby’s tummy to digest more complicated foods down the road. It’s loaded with minerals, gelatin, and glycosaminoglycans (which include substances like chondroitin and glucosamine, keratin and hyaluronic acid and more…). These nutrients support the development and health of teeth, bones, hair, nails, and joints in babies and us grown ups.

Roast Chicken & Sage Mash
4-6 months +
Makes 3 serves
(Use organic produce and free range organic chicken)
1 cup of diced sweet potato
1/2 a large Apple
1/2 cup cooked roast chicken (or sub with cooked chicken breast/thigh)
3/4 cup chicken bone broth
1/2 teaspoon dried sage or 1 teaspoon fresh sage
•Steam Apple and sweet potato until tender.
* Bring bone broth to the boil over medium heat.
* Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
Store in single serve glass jars in freezer for up to 3 months.
